After the unique celebration on 31 December in Novi Sad, Doček continues its tradition of celebrating two New Years, and on 13 January, throughout the city, turning indoor concerts into a special audio-visual experience.

Since 2015, theater makers Elisabeth Sikora and Markus Olzinger have been establishing Gmunden as a location for Austrian and German-language premieres of what is probably the most modern genre in theater history, the musical. 

The European Capital of Culture region, Esch2022, including southern Luxembourg and neighbouring France, celebrated the end of the title year. 2000 visitors celebrated the closing evening of Esch2022 - REWIND-PLAY-FORWARD on 22.12.22, with more than 100 artists. In the first part, twelve roundtable discussions, accompanied by images, videos and performances, provided an opportunity to look back on the year and discuss the legacy of the cultural capital project.

"Nud (Nothing) - From common places to community places, through a diffused narrative for the town”, “The last things. Polyphony for Rionero”, “Basilicata calling. People of Tursi”, “We are Here - Celebrating local community recipes and life through public art installations”. These are the final results of the creative residencies in the Lucanian municipalities of Forenza, Rionero in Vulture, Tursi and Stigliano, presented over the weekend for the wrap-up of the "Creative Communities" program in memory of David Sassoli, promoted by the Matera Basilicata 2019 Foundation and Open Design School in partnership with national and European partners.
