The Open College summer school for cultural managers was organised as part of the Open Minds programme line of Nikšić 2030 – European Capital of Culture, bringing together cultural professionals, producers, representatives of institutions and organisations, as well as young practitioners from Montenegro and the region.

The Foundation “European Capital of Culture – Skopje 2028” announces an Open Call for Expressions of Interest for the selection of domestic and international independent professional experts who may be engaged to provide advisory, professional and programme support to the “European Capital of Culture – Skopje 2028” programme. Application deadline: 19 September 2026.

The Foundation “European Capital of Culture – Skopje 2028” invites artists, cultural organisations, public institutions, universities, creative professionals, civil society organisations, cultural operators, creative industries, community organisations and international partners to submit project proposals that will become part of the official cultural programme of Skopje – European Capital of Culture 2028.

The Foundation “Skopje – European Capital of Culture 2028” is launching an Open Call for Expressions of Interest for the selection of independent national and international experts – evaluators, to establish the Register of Independent Experts – Evaluators of Skopje 2028.

As part of the ‘European Capital of Culture’ initiative, there are various ways to take part in the official Kiruna 2029 programme, which are regularly featured on their social media channels.

As part of “Liepaja – European Capital of Culture 2027”, an open call has been announced for public artworks and artistic interventions that through public engagement and listening, would respond to and reflect on wind, climate and environmental fluctuations. The project “Atmospheric Waves” is looking for original concepts and ideas for sound artworks that would respond to wind and climate conditions in Liepaja, on the West Coast of Latvia. The competition is open for applications until September 4, 2026.

The City of Leuven, LOV2030 and Shift are seeking an artist or artists’ collective to create a temporary light artwork on the scaffolding hoarding of Leuven’s historic town hall.
